Canadian Recycled Plastics Project
This GHG emission reductions project consists in recycling post-consumer and post-industrial plastic material such as polyethylene (LDPE and HDPE) and polypropylene (PP) and polystyrene (PS). The resulting recycled materials are either in the form of granules to be used as raw materials by plastic consumer product manufacturers. These recovering and recycling project activities are additional to a baseline scenario which consists in using the option of producing plastic with virgin raw material.
