Title: Bluesource Methane Reduction Program Pool Delta | Project Identifier: 3121-2397 | ||
---|---|---|---|
Project DescriptionThe purpose of the Bluesource Methane Reduction Program, is to assist oil and gas companies efficiently and quickly meet more stringent methane venting requirements established by both Environment and Climate Change Canada and the Alberta Energy Regulator by replacing existing high-bleed equipment. In doing so the Program will play an important role in helping Alberta and Canada meet the Federal government’s objective of a 45 percent reduction in vented methane emissions from the oil and gas sector by 2025. The Programs objective is to retrofit approximately 7000 high bleed pneumatic controllers with newer low bleed equivalents over the next two years. The Program is composed of at least four projects that cover the installation of transducers, pressure and level controllers during a discreet installation period. The Bluesource Methane Reduction Program Pool Delta, is an aggregation of installations that are performed during the fourth quarter of the calendar year. |
