Project Description
This project converted 50 brick kilns using heavy oil as fuel to using natural gas as their fuel. This project is located in Helwan (previously Giza) Governorate, Egypt. This fuel switch project involves replacement of heavy oil burners wiht gas burners and control systems. This also includes installation of connecting gas pipelines and pressure reducing stations. The gas was already in the area and just required a pressure reducing stations to step down from high pressure to lower, and then a lower-pressure distribution network from the mian pressure reducing station to each factory.
