Title AIM composting activities performed at Hamilton's Central Composting Facility for greenhouse gas emission reductions |
Project Identifier 5218-7014 |

---|---|---|---|
Project Description The project achieves GHG emission reductions by transforming organic residue as derived from municipally generated source separated household waste into compost. This waste diversion projects avoids a large quantity of organic residues from being buried in a landfill where it would likely undergo anaerobic decomposition hence generating methane. |
